its been a bit since i've seen you on..hows life treating you? :)
by CRO COP FAN- Rijeka on 02.08.2008 12:20
Hey, how are you doing?
by ATHF on 25.07.2008 19:49
So what did you think of Affliction? It was INSANE to get to cover it on the floor and I was so excited for pretty much the entire night. The crowd was so loud down there..Also if you get a chance, I managed to get up some of my pictures from various fight stuffs so you can compare to yours and mock me endlessly..lol Hope you're doing well!
by jack_bauer on 20.07.2008 07:07
waz up princess tee? "kamusta" how is your training going on
by zeNNoN on 16.07.2008 09:55
LE T-shirt.. really great..
by DarrickPatrick on 16.07.2008 08:40
Nice - sounds like you have some skills stocked away in ya! I haven't ever had a chance to properly train yet, but I'd say my best assest would be ground game myself.

You're right - a personal trainer would be awesome! That's something I look forward to in the future.

And I'm always down for novel length comments, and occasionally I spread them out myself as well, heheh.

Did you get to sleep well yet?
by ATHF on 15.07.2008 17:30
Ah, you should have just slapped him...my instincts tend to be wrong too when it comes to some things, especially picking something. If I go to the store to buy something and there are ten of them on the rack, no matter which one I pick, I'll usually get the broken one or the one that needs to be returned, without fail..lol. Any luck on Affliction yet? I'm finishing up my stuff here and then getting ready to head down for the really big show!! Exciting times for sure. Get some rest and I'm sure I'll be hearing from you again soon with LOTS of interesting stuff to say. Man, I ramble a lot...
by ATHF on 14.07.2008 02:34
Kind of worried that my picks didn't get in properly either since I sent one in the way I wanted it and it ended up saying I had picked the opposite fighter. Ah well, so much for making up ground..lol
by jack_bauer on 13.07.2008 10:38
you dont look like broken hearted, in fact you are blooming, i jst remember yours posts before, i think u will bag the mma_id prize for the prediction , keep it up princess tee
by ATHF on 13.07.2008 05:35
Yeah, there was a debate on another forum about the worst fight camp there is out there and everyone was kind of arguing back and forth and when I said Hammer House, everyone just kind of shut up or agreed with me. I'd say that's pretty telling..lol. When it comes to the picks I don't think that strategy would ever work for me..I'm far too analytical and have problems shutting my brain off most times..
by DarrickPatrick on 13.07.2008 05:31
I never like to see a serious injury, but I love to see some serious action. Blood is a nice thing at times provided it's not from a deep gaping war wound.

Do you compete? The comment about your knockout has me curious...

And yep - all read and replied on MySpace!
by ATHF on 13.07.2008 05:15
You're on, but I don't think that I'm going to be anywhere near winning this one..lol..I'm only good at my picks when I rush through them at the last minute without thinking. I actually heard about that Sims/Bosse fight and it all kind of sounded like a joke. The whole Hammer House team is just a bunch of meatheads anyhow...Coleman's just the leader of the whole goofy pack..
by ATHF on 13.07.2008 05:02
Mark Coleman seems like a guy that needs to go away...I thought that after the Shogun fight when he ran his mouth on the Chute Boxe guys and he just kind of gets worse and worse the older he gets...Keep trying to get people to go with you to Affliction though, I'm sure you'll convince someone eventually..lol As for your picks, I can use it cause now I can catch up after I gave you like a thirty point head start...
by ATHF on 13.07.2008 04:42
I would have to say that it's a tie between Wanderlei and Roger Huerta, but if I end up getting to meet Fedor for a moment or two covering Affliction I'd probably drop dead...you? Any favorites?
by ATHF on 13.07.2008 04:26
Congrats on the picks! Very well done. I think mine flamed out spectacularly on that one..Maybe I did better with the Cage Rage show..lol
by Shrek on 11.07.2008 18:41
Hello back, thanks for the reply. Things are well, back from vacation, back to work. I see the Sens signed a few new players. Hockey fan? It's the only sport I enjoy more than MMA. Take care and have a good weekend.

UFC News

For Hamill, fighting Franklin is what it’s like when worlds collide
Chuck Mindenhall, UFC - When he was a math teacher at Oak Hills High in Cincinnati, Rich Franklin liked his students to show proof of their work on assignments because, well—math is all about how you got there. Though Matt Hamill was never a direct student of Franklin's, he has worked out a simple equation: Train hard, beat Franklin at 205, and become a legitimate contender in the most glamorous division of them all.

Roan Carneiro – Atlanta’s Newest Resident Looks to Thrill Fans on Sept. 6
Thomas Gerbasi, UFC - Throughout the ups and downs of his mixed martial arts career, welterweight Roan Carneiro has kept a pretty positive outlook on things, choosing to look at the bright side where others would just search for negatives. Take his thoughts on his time in the fight game and its high and low points.

Parisyan Feels No Need to Panic
Dave Sholler, UFC - Karo Parisyan couldn't put a finger on it, but he knew something was wrong in the months leading up to his bout with Thiago Alves last April. Despite coming off a unanimous decision victory over Ryo Chonan at UFC 78 in November, Parisyan was struggling to maintain his focus while preparing for his next fight. If waning focus wasn't enough to raise concerns, Parisyan couldn't sleep. And even though he was in training mode, he barely had an appetite.

UFC Newcomers to get Veteran Welcome on September 17th
Thomas Gerbasi, UFC - Newcomers Jason Brilz, Mike Massenzio, and Dan Miller will get stern tests when they make their Octagon debuts on the UFC Fight Night card at the Omaha Civic Auditorium in Omaha, Nebraska on September 17th.In middleweight action, New Jersey's Massenzio takes on knockout artist Drew McFedries, and another Garden State product, Dan Miller, battles Rob Kimmons. In a light heavyweight bout, Jason Brilz squares off against former heavyweight Brad Morris.

Tim Boetsch – The ‘Barbarian’s MMA Education Continues
Thomas Gerbasi, UFC - The tank was empty and Tim Boetsch still had ten minutes to go."This isn't gonna be pretty," thought the light heavyweight prospect as he trudged back into battle for the second round of his April bout against Matt Hamill. The first round had gone fairly well for the Sunbury, Pennsylvania resident, but by the time those opening five minutes were over, the altitude at the Broomfield Event Center in Colorado had kicked in and sapped him of his strength.

Don’t Make Dan Henderson Angry—You Wouldn’t Like Him When He’s Angry
Chuck Mindenhall, UFC - May 15, 1998. That was the last time that Dan Henderson won in the UFC—ten years and two Pride belts ago. To say he's a hungry fighter heading into his middleweight bout with Rousimar Palhares at UFC 88 in Atlanta is an understatement. Yet to say he's washed up after dropping back-to-back title fights with Quinton Jackson (205) and Anderson Silva (185) respectively, well, that's just plain crazy talk.

MacDonald Steps Up for Second Fight in a Month against Lambert
Thomas Gerbasi, UFC - Despite almost three rounds of fast-paced ground warfare against Demian Maia at UFC 87 on August 9th, Edmonton's Jason "The Athlete" MacDonald has decided to step to the plate again less than a month after the bout to replace injured countryman Jason Day against Jason Lambert at UFC 88.

UFC 89 Growing by the Minute
Thomas Gerbasi, UFC - It's shaping up to be one of the biggest events of 2008, and UFC 89 is just getting bigger with the addition of two more bouts to the card, which will take place at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham, England.

Tyson Griffin vs Sean Sherk Official for UFC 90 in Chicago
Thomas Gerbasi, UFC - Rising 155-pound star Tyson Griffin will put his four fight winning streak on the line at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois on October 25th when he squares off against his most accomplished foe to date, former UFC lightweight champion Sean Sherk, in a key matchup on the UFC 90 main card.

Kyle Bradley – Ready for Take Two of His UFC Career
Thomas Gerbasi, UFC - Kyle Bradley was patient, Job-like in his resolve as he waited for the phone to ring and for someone to tell him that he was going to be a UFC fighter. Sure, the buzz about him was getting louder, but all he ultimately saw were his peers - the guys he came up with - getting brought into the big shows.
