Internet street fighting legend Kevin Ferguson, better known as "Kimbo Slice", is set to face MMA brawler David "Tank" Abbott on February 16 in Miami, Florida.
Ferguson won his sanctioned MMA debut in an exhibition against former boxing champion Ray Mercer in June. His first professional win came in a questionable bout against Bo Cantrell at the most recent Elite XC event held in November.
"Tank" is on a three fight losing streak, losing to Hidehiko Yoshida in PRIDE in 2005, Paul Buentello in Strikeforce in 2006, and Gary Turner in Cage Rage last year.
The upcoming EXC card will also feature former UFC fighter Scott Smith against Kyle Noke. Noke is coming off a win over Seith Kleinbeck in his EXC debut in November, while Smith is coming off a win over 4-4 fighter Jeff Morris under the Gladiator Challenge banner.
Other fighters expected to appear on the card are PRIDE and Cage Rage veteran James Thompson, American Top Team's Antonio Silva, and female MMA superstar Gina Carano.
