I'm off to Japan!
I'm off to Tokyo!
A big announcement will come straight from Japan tomorrow (February 13).
When the official part is done I'll be able to provide more information about everything,
and believe me, I have many things to say.
What you could easily guess by now is that I won't be retiring.
I'll keep on fighting, it's my life, it's what I do.

Hi Mirko. First of all, let me add my name to the list of people on here who has you as a favourite fighter. I wish you the best of luck in whatever you choose to do with your career. On a personal note, I would hate to see you leave the UFC. More than that, though, I would be very disappointed if - as I suspect is the case - you decide to leave MMA for kickboxing. That said, you have to do what you have to do, and I'm sure that for every person who feels like I do, there is one who is ecstatic about the idea of you moving away from MMA and the UFC. I sincerely hope to see you fight again in the UFC, but if Japan is best for you, I understand. But no matter what any one says, you are truly one of the best MMA fighters and have proven yourself, and no one can ever take that away from you. I will also be your fan no matter what league you choose to fight with and the UFC will be loosing a wonderful fighter.

Mirko, you are by far my favorite fighter. I look up to you. I have been following you for years. I watch High-light videos of you every day. But this news is very disappointing to me. I did not expect you to step away from the little bit of adversity you experienced in the UFC. The UFC is the big stage at this point. So what, you lost a couple fights? I was 100% convinced that you would make a very strong comeback and dominate the UFC. This is very sad to me, that you will not be able to redeem yourself for the losses with the big organization. However I will continue to follow you and support you. =\

I've been waiting for you to go back to Japan! Although that means i'll never get an opportunity to watch you fight, as I would have if you were in the US, but I believe the Japanese respect and appreciate their fighters more than certain US based organizations (AKA UFC). I said in one of my earlier post that if you left UFC, i have no reason to watch it anymore. Thank you! You are the greatest man ever!

Wow. This i must say - I lost alot of respect now. A real champion would come back and redeem himself, not RUN BECAUSE THE COMPETITION IS TOO HARD. U will now be known as the man who couldnt cut it in the UFC (The big show). And to say that the cage makes it too difficult is just plain stupid. Look at Nogueira... He did just fine, and the cage was never an issue. I will allways be a fan, but i won't be following you around anymore.

Listen, Crocop needs to go where he will be treated well. Crocop has nothing to prove. He's a champion. He's beaten the best. He has nothing to prove to UFC Fans. Would you fight for a bunch of drunken fans who don't really even understand MMA? I wouldn't. Sometimes it's not even about money. It's about respect and USA/Dana White have very little respect for MMA fighters. I am so glad that Crocop is going back to Japan. Go Crocop !!! I can't wait to see you fight again in Japan !!!

Damn... I just don't know what to say. I still quite don't understand what's going on, why buy a new cage if you're apparently leaving the UFC? I'm still a fan and will always be, I'm just very sad. I've always wanted to see you kick ass in the UFC. Good luck for your career though.
