Jim Miller- This is Sparta
Rhett Butler, UFC - The UFC lightweight division is the newest to hold the title of "stacked", with accomplished fighters all itching to compete against one another. We all know the names: Florian, Stevenson, Huerta, Fisher, Guida and the man high atop the smoldering volcano (literally) BJ Penn. Amid the fray lie sleeping giants who speak mostly with their Octagon prowess and not through the media.
Next step for Ryan “Darth” Bader—finishing the bloody game of attrition
Chuck Mindenhall, UFC - Everybody knows that reality television is never really reality—except when it is. For instance, 16 guys quarantined under a single roof, all of them fairly convinced of their own invincibility and anxious to bear proof, are bound to have a few confrontations. That's an interesting sort of microcosmic reality. There's also something very real, it should be noted, about fists and flying glassware. Eh, for guys like The Ultimate Fighter 8's Ryan Bader, it wasn't really a problem.
Goulet: Rejuvenated and Hungry for Fights
Dave Sholler, UFC - Nearly a year ago, welterweight Jonathan Goulet had considered ending his mixed martial arts career at the age of 28. After 27 professional bouts, the Victoriaville, Quebec, Canada native was having trouble summoning the desire to fight.
A Well-Prepared Sanchez Gets Ready to leave it all in the Octagon Again
Thomas Gerbasi, UFC - If you saw Eddie Sanchez in Belfast International Airport on the morning after his June 2007 fight with Colin Robinson, you wouldn't have recognized him behind the mask of bruises sustained during the torrid 5:32 bout, which Sanchez won via TKO in the second round. But for the man dubbed "The Manic Hispanic", there was no hiding, no sheepish looks at the people staring at him. This is his job, and those bruises were nothing more than badges of honor.
UFC PRIMETIME TO PREMIERE ON JANUARY 14th
New York, NY, December 5, 2008 - In anticipation of one of the most eagerly-anticipated mixed martial events of all-time, UFC 94, featuring welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre and lightweight champion BJ Penn, Spike TV presents "UFC Primetime," premiering Wednesday, January 14 10:30-11:00pm ET/PT.
“THE ULTIMATE FIGHTER: TEAM NOGUEIRA VS. TEAM MIR” FINALS ARE SET
New York, NY, December 4, 2008 - After twelve episodes of elimination bouts, grueling training, and creative hijinks and pranks, "The Ultimate Fighter: Team Nogueira vs. Mir™" live finale is set with Phillipe Nover taking on Efrain Escudero in the lightweight (155lb) class and Ryan Bader battling Vinny Magalhaes in the light heavyweight division (205 lbs). Emanating from The Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, NV on Saturday, December 13 at 9:00 PM ET, the finalists will be competing for a six-figure contract with the preeminent mixed martial arts organization in the world, The Ultimate Fighting Championship®.
Junie Browning’s Final Ultimate Fighter Blog
Junie Allen Browning, Team Mir - Part of me thought that I was gone off the show this time, but another part figured that they'd keep me to see if I'd get beat. Half of the people in America would want to see me win, and half would want to see me get my ass kicked, so I figured they'd keep me for that reason.
Torres Retains WEC Belt, Bowles Still Unbeaten
Frank Curreri, WEC - If Miguel Torres had a weakness, a part of his game that could be exploited, many presumed it was in his stand-up arsenal. Manny Tapia believed that to be the case - but not any more. Torres tore through Tapia on Wednesday night at the Hard Rock Casino & Hotel, using a 9-inch reach advantage to batter the No. 1 challenger with jab after jab and then finishing Tapia with a vicious combination in the second-round. In fact, Torres' first punch of the night was a jab that sent Tapia reeling and falling backward into the cage, foreboding the kind of rough night it would be for Tapia.
Miguel Torres – MMA’s Afro Samurai
Thomas Gerbasi, WEC - Midway through 2008, if you ran down the list of champions in the WEC, the two considered most likely to still be holding their belts when "jingle bells" started playing around town would have been Urijah Faber and Miguel Torres.

Hello finally! I'm glad you're satisfied with the Colorado trip, any further travelling plans? I ADORE going places!
The festival is in 10 days (nice of you to remember) and my adrenaline is going bezerk! I have a really quality song though, so I'm keeping the positive attitude. After the competition we are heading for another couple of places to make something out of the rest of the summer and then the rush is over, back to work... |

Yeah, same here - been a busy fellow trying to catch up with life a bit! And I was really excited to see Forrest become champ as well. Can't wait to see his first title defense. |

Oh I completely forgot about that! Cheating on his wife by sleeping with their adopted daughter!! Gisgusting..
I'll be watching movies pretty much today and tomorrow, have some spare time, yesterday I'd been watching 'Naked gun', I liked it! I'm usually very suspicious about comedies, but I realized that there actually ARE some worth watching! I especially liked Priscilla Presley in Naked gun.. she looks so dumb and stiff like she can't catch much of what other people are saying. I thought that was real funny.

Yeah, Spielberg sure knows his craft! Although I think he sometimes tends to exaggerate, just a tiny little bit! But he is always interesting even so.
However, the director I CAN'T STAND is Woody Allen. The way he deliberately tries to play poor little guy, just in order to show off his genius, is totally repulsive. |

That's good to hear. Well I do agree, 45 dollars is quite a lot of money. It costs basically the same over here as well. 86 should be great, I see Rampage taking this though! He's too powerful and experienced for Forrest! |

Hi! i'm doing good. watched an amazing UFC! I'm not a fan of the UFC, but the fighters were superb last night. How is your work going? i vaguely remember something about your own honey business? I have heard the bee population is having an impact on honey production. |

The Talisman must be a really old one.. I never came across that tiltle!
What about directors? The are plenty of good ones, Carpenter, Stone, Polanski, Reiner... But my all time favorite is definitely Peter Weir. He can get you feel like you never knew you could. Did you see his Picnic at Hanging Rock? Try it, that's all I can say. If not, look for ..the Plumber! |

Yeah right, the Running man! Amazing!
By the way, I have tons of Stephen King books, there was a time when I couldn't stop swallowing his writing...
Even today.. Carrie, Misery, Needful things, The Shining, Cujo, The Shawshank Redemption, Stand by me...... I better not continue or else I get overwhelmed... |

We're starting the final recording Monday morning, the song is getting better everyday :) I only hope it goes that smooth all the way to the final cut.
I also got a new job in school, but that's only for a while....
Grandma is pretty well, thank you for asking!
I must check out 'The Iron man'... Did you ever see 'The runner'? Stephen King is always phenomenal!!...
